we are seeking to recruit an “Android Senior Software Engineer” to be based in Cairo - Egypt
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalents
• Minimum 46 years of experience in mobile applications development
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications for mobile phones and tablets your primary focus will be development of Android applications, their integration with back-end services, and publishing them to play store
• Working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure
• Design and build applications for the Android platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications on different devices
• Publishing the Applications on Play store
• Managing the code using different versioning tools like Git
• Work with a team to define the requirements, and build the design for new features
• Excellent knowledge of Android development’s language and SDK
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Solid understanding of the Activity/Fragment life cycle
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and Material Design
• Good knowledge in OOP principles and Development
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Good understanding of code versioning tools like Git
• Experience with offline storage for application’s data
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
